Illuminations tour

Itinerary : Place Vendôme - Comédie Française - Louvre - Pont-Neuf - Hôtel de la Monnaie - Saint-Germain-des-Prés - la Cathédrale Notre-Dame - Place du Châtelet - Conciergerie - Hôtel de Ville - Place de la Concorde - Petit et Grand Palais -  Avenue des Champs-Élysées - Tour Eiffel - Invalides - Eglise de la Madeleine - Pigalle - Opéra.

Recorderd commentary available in: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Dutch, Russian, and Czech.

Cruise on the Seine River

Commentary available in : French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Polish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Children commentary available in French.       

End of the tour at Pyramides agency or Opera House square

In summer : Clients will be transported to the Bateaux Parisiens boarding point and escorted back to the coach by our hostess. The Seine River cruise takes us from the Eiffel Tower as far as the Ile de la Cité and has a 1 hour duration. Then Illuminations tour of Paris for about 1h30.

In winter  : First Illuminations tour then Seine River Cruise

 

 Clients have the possibility of finishing the tour in the Opera area (good location for restaurants and bars).

Included :

* Transportation in luxury air conditioned coach.
* One-hour commented cruise along the Seine river.                                             
* The services of a multilingual hostess/interpreter.
* Recorded commentary (digital sound) and personal earphone sets.

Information :

* In winter : tour to Paris to see the main illuminated monuments, followed by a Seine river cruise (vice versa during the summer months).
* Two different and complementary ways of exploring illuminated Paris - coach and boat.
* In winter heated and covered boats are used for the Seine river cruise.
* Don't forget the Christmas Illuminations from end November to early January!
* End of the tour at Pyramides agency or Opera House Square to take a taxi or stroll around the area which is a good location for restaurants and bars.

We loved it! The best bit of our three day stay in Paris. We were also lucky enough to get to the front of the bus (upstairs) so we really had a good view. The service was excellent and easy to use, everybody was very helpful at your office/boat/bus and booking was easy online. We will definately be recommending this service and your company to everybody going to Paris and will be more than happy to use your services again when hopefully in a few years time we will be returning to your beautiful city again. The cruise was fabulous and very enjoyable. A lot of time spent waiting in coach after the cruise and also back at the office to pick up more people The illuminations tour was very nice although there are some famous historic buildings that we didnt get to see, e.g. pantheon

One improvement is possible. I found that between the two tours, i.e. Cruise + Illuminations, the total waiting time was about nearly 1 hour, which is rather long. Please try if some better arrangements can be worked out to reduce the idle waiting time. Otherwise, both the tours were excellent. Thanks. We enjoyed it.

I think the Illuminations tour was well organised and the guide professional. We really enjoyed it. I just wonder if it is not possible to make a specific arrangement with the Seine Cruise that the group are guaranteed good seats. By the time we got there the boat was very full and we could not get seats together as a family.

Paris at night is marvelous! We would recommend this excursion to everybody! Very interesting commentaries on the bus and boat, nice personnel and not too long to wait between the two tours - rather satisfied, thank you!

The cruise showed us everything we wanted to see from the Seine and went at a good pace. Even though it was freezing cold this made our trip that little bit more special. The Illuminations tour showed us plenty of the city that we hadnt been to yet. It is what you expect frombeing on a coach.

I planned Cruise+Illumination for the lst evening. It happened to be very nice closing of our Paris trip.

One thing is to be improved. It took quite long to get back to Rivoli street after the cruise. We were told that the bus would left at 10 p.m. In fact we left at 10:30 or even later. It would be faster by metro if we only knew.

There was too much confusion when the buses started to arrive for the night tours, no one seemed to know which bus they were supposed to queue for, therefore no orderley queues were formed. During the bus tour we passed several interesting sights but there was a lack of indepth audio commentry.

We only had one evening in Paris on this trip and this was a very nice way to get a taste of Paris. We enjoyed it very much!

It was the best organised excursions We have ever been. Very comfortable coach, a lot of information on 9 languages well-designed route and off course cruise was really impressive and cognitive.
