The sound (in the headphones) was very poor, on some buses, and in others didn't even worked! You advertise that one of the languages available is Portuguese but, in fact, what you offer is a very bad brazillian - which, as you may know, is a language other than portuguese.
Overall, the service runs fine: the cars are comfortable and routes very interesting; for better, you have to enhance the experience giving customers good comments with better sound quality.

I have been in Paris four times and each time we have purchased the Paris a la Carte tickets. Your system is wonderful and I have nothing to suggest you change to make it better...unless you made it cheaper.

Very satisfied, this is a great way to know the inner parts of the city as well as the famous tourist spots. The headsets help a lot in learning about the history of the city.

the tour was great! covered all the spots we wanted to see. The buses were clean and well operated and we were never waiting very long for a bus. the stops were also marked well and easy to find. The tour help make my trip to Paris a wonderful experience.

We used the tour bus for most of our transportation around Paris along with the Metro. Excellent commentary although on some buses it was not working properly.

The tour and its concept was very handy. Paris being a big city is a maze to discover by one's own. This tour option was a great way to discover everything Paris has to offer without really having to go in circles. I feel I know Paris better than those who went there for much longer time periods.

Buses ran to schedule and stopped near places we wanted to visit. We used the Bateau Bus as much as we could and found it also ran to schedule and we enjoyed the more relaxing way of seeing sites on the Seine.

the hop on hop off bus is the best. we have used it all over the world and was just as great here in paris. this is the best one with the best routes for sure.!! good deal.

A great way to get the lay of the land. Most of the stops were easy to find. The bus audio was bad on some busses (seats). I would buy the boat pass separately and for other days were I to do it again, as it's a lot to see in a short time. We ended up not getting to many stops.

The wife and I both enjoyed your service. It was easy to transfer from one route to another including Batobus.
We believe we saw the most important sights of Paris whioch would have been more difficult if we had not used your buses. The commentry was also very helpful. I would recommend the service to other visiotrs to Paris.

This was my 5th trip to Paris & the first time using the hop-on/hop-off bus. It was a great way to take one of the routes and after seeing all of the stops, decide which/where you wanted to get off and visit. It was just as easy to catch the bus to the next stop. The Batobus addition, we also selected, was a beautiful way to see the wonderful bridges of Paris from a different perspective and especially since the weather was wonderful.........we enjoyed both the bus (upper level was open air), and batobus.
I would recommend using your service to both young and old. I will definitely use you again on my next trip
back to Paris.
Thank you,

THE BUSES WERE SO CROWDED, WE COULDN'T GET ON THE FIRST ONE-AND THEN WE HAD TO STAND UP THE ENTIRE TIME. OTHERWISE, THE ROUTE WAS FINE, DRIVERS WERE NICE.

If you are coming from a different time zone, do not do this on your first day. The bus became our bed and we slept through a lot of the information. Otherwise it would have been a great way to get around with good info about the city!

The bus was good but it was hard to find the stop near Gare de Nord. The girl at the tourist office at Gare de Nord was totally useless in giving advice on where to find the stop there to get the bus. But then we realised that the French are pretty rude to tourists which is a pity as Paris is such a beautiful city. The river cruise was also good but again the signage and directions are hard to find. You need a better map with clearer instructions on where stops are, especially which side of the river the stop near the Louvre is. I now agree with a friend who told me that Paris was the world's most beautiful city, but if the French all left it and Italians took their place it would be even better. Having been to Rome on this trip, I now agree with that. But the people on the bus and the boat. once we found the stops, were very good.

Order and payment on the internet - ok.
Voucher via e-mail - ok.
The only small problem was, that my e-mail software (pine) does not show images, and I could print the voucher only without images. This way my voucher was a bit strange for the office personnel, and the Hop-on Hop-off bus driver, but both of them was very kind and helpful. Finally they managed to identify my order.

(This was the second time when I booked tour at Paris Cityrama.
The first occasion was in may 2005, when we had a Paris Seinorama program. )

The buses ran in a timely manner and the stops were very convenient. In addition, the boats added a dimension of convenience to that already supplied by the buses.

The network of bus routes is excellent and, taken together with the opportunity to also use Batobus, it offers extremely good value.
Our major problem was that, although the Paris a la Carte includes both the buses and the Batobus, we could not utilize our voucher at Batobus, after a long trek across Paris to do so, but had to go find a bus to do so. There were 2 women at the Batobus stop at Musee d'Orsay, one of whom was abrupt and unhelpful, whereas the 2nd at least tried to explain the reasons for the inconvenience.
At the nearby Quai d'Orsay bus stop, there was a dapper black man who was running the bus (the first one that morning of the 28th?) who was very helpful. In fact, all of the bus drivers were courteous and helpful.

Unfortunately we had problems with a bus driver at the point opposite the Louvre museum (place du Carrousel): we have explained in English that we needed to exchange our voucher for tickets - as you described: "Exchange voucher at the 'La Boutique Opentour' at 13 rue Auber 75009 Paris, or on the buses." The driver said he was unaware that form (voucher) and to justify his ignorance he was stupid to the point of shouting in French that he did not care about our needs and could not give tickets to take the Batobus up the Eiffel Tower.

The Cityrama Paris a la carte was very convenient and economical, which is a great way to see all of Paris sections with an oppportunity to hop off and hop on at the stops of our choice.
It would be better to have a live tour guide instead of the recordings as the Operator (Driver) does not always start the recordings at the right time and it gives you incorrect information on the buildings that you pass, which is confusing if you do not know your buildings or areas.
We were at one stop for a great length of time and listened to the same french song over and over until we simply removed our headsets.
The three day pass is the best value as it offered the Batobus as well. You would not be able to enjoy the whole four sections with only a one day pass. As well, if there is an event with street closures, the three day pass is guaranteed to offer an extension, whereas one or two day pass does not include this. We had the chance to see a great deal of Paris and all surrounding areas with our three day pass with the Batobus included, we used both modes of transportation to get from one end to the other enjoying many sites and buildings.
We stayed in Montemarte and had intended on using this tour bus as our main source of transportation, but as we realized it was easier to use it for the tour only. The Metro was easier and faster to enable us to see more and get more in during the day as the bus is extremely slow with stops and wait times.

This is the way to see Paris. We bought the 3 day pass, which included the batoboats. Unlike using the Metro, the busses stop right in front of the attraction, and you do not have to walk far or take endless flights of stairs. You could ride each bus around several times, and still see something different that you missed the first time. Very satisfied.

opinion published on 2011/05/06
We didn´t know that you stopped the timetable at many of the busstops more than one hour before closing-time. This information is not clear and detailed in your brochure. There were several tourist with tickets standing at a bus-stop close to your office 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing-time. We were vaiting a long time and no bus arrived. This is not good service!
