We were very impressed with this excursion. Our guide was most knowledgeable. Our pickup and return to the hotel was timely. Our lunch was more than expected -- hot, with choices; not just cold sandwiches. This excursion hit all the high spots and we feel our expectations were met and exceeded.

This was an excellent trip. The guide was well informed and very helpful. I was deeply moved visiting the beaches of D-Day and the American Cemetery. It was a powerful experience.

The trip was fine. The promised pick-up time was right on and the whole trip was as published. It is a long day and consequently the distance travelled precludes lengthly stays at any of the sites however if planned well, you get to see the high lights of each site. The tour guide was very informative while on the bus but while we were at each site we were on our own having been given some guidance beforehand of what to expect. All in all for a one day trip from Paris to the Normady Coast and the D-Day landing sites I considered it a worthwile and well conducted tour.

I am so happy to report that our trip to Normandy on August 16, 2011 was wonderful. Our driver Frederick (Fred) was so friendly and knowledgeable. He truly made the trip a real learning experience explaining facts that we hadn't known before. Fred answered all our questions in perfect English. His driving through the beautiful countryside and to the Normandy beaches was very smooth and comfortable. At the end of the trip, when being dropped off at our hotel, which was very convenient, we felt as though we were leaving a friend. We could not have had a more enjoyable trip. And how we enjoyed that delicious lunch at the lovely charming farm house restaurant that was included in the cost. In all, the experience of taking Cityrama's Normandy Tour with Fred as our guide was one of the highlights of our trip to France that we will always remember as a most memorable and enjoyable experience. Sincerely, Judith Moore
